LOCAL INFORMATION

Blayney is a comfortable 30 minute drive from the popular destinations of Bathurst, Orange and Cowra.

Visitors to Blayney can enjoy many outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, sailing and water skiing.

Within a short distance are the National Trust classified villages of Carcoar and Millthorpe with their historic buildings and local museums.

There are many good coffee shops, wine tasting outlets and top restaurants in the area.

The Central Tablelands enjoys four distinct seasons. Each season is enchanting and delightful. In summer expect warm sunshine and cool evenings. Autumn becomes a kaleidoscope of colours with the changing of the leaves and beautiful sunsets. Winter brings with it cold days and the occasional snowfall, perfect for relaxing by a fire with local wines. Spring is delightful with the awakening of buds and blooms and the promise of warmer days.
